Title: Hey Tom - can you measure your fenders?
Post by: EDNY on August 08, 2016, 02:35:22 PM
Tom

Been thinking again.. :-\

Would like to install glass front fenders on my 33 5W coupe and been thinking about using 34 master fenders since a front apron is not used between the fenders. Plus I already have a 34 fiberglass radiator cover.

Neither year would be bolt on anyway since I raked, chopped and channeled the main body.

The fenders on my 34 Master measure about 46" front to back..can you tell me the approx. length of your 33 fenders?

Thanks
Ed

Ed,
If I measure it like this I get 64 1/4".  Let me know if this works for you.

Tom

It would be better for my needs if you could just lay the ruler on the ground next to the car and get an "APPROX visual" distance from back to front of fender.

My 33 Master doesn't have an OEM hood but the hood would be approx. 36.5" long on the hinge sides, my 34 Master hood is 42" long. Probably because the 33 has a deeper/longer firewall which has me curious about the 33 OEM fender length.

I made the hood on my 33 Master 42" long because I pushed the radiator out in front of the steering cross member.

Thanks
