Has anyone used these on 30 fenders and how did they fit.Want to go with dual tailights and really like the look of the 33-34 housings.
-
You might have to move them up the fender a bit so the lights aren't pointing to the ground. I believe the rear part of you fender has the radius continue longer than mine. Would probably look good!

1932 tail lights and mounting arms from a 31-32 chevy would be more suitable for your 1930.
I believe I & I reproductions in calif makes both......or maybe bowtie reproductions in ohio

This is what the 32 tailights look like and how high up the fender they sit

A friend shortened his stands for his 34 3 window. I know it doesn't have anything to do with your question. :-[

Just throwing this out again and only as a FYI, I picked up a set of 33/34 Ford chrome horns on ebay for about $20..one of those lucky bids. They were Speedway repro items. I then mounted a pair of Speedway 55-59 Chevy pickup LED on the Ford horns...great match. The lights are really bright, nice size and the horns are shorter than the Chevy horns.
It might just be me...but I personally like how they look. Attached an old picture..

That's a great look Ed!

Here is a very suttle look and clean also I think these are ford not sure
-
yes they are 1940 ford deluxe tail lights, commonly called sergeants stripe tail lights.
You rarely see those used on other cars. The more popular choice is the 39 ford teardrop tail light.

Leaning towards the 33-34 arms like the look of the Ford ones but I'm a die hard Chevy guy and really have a hard time putting Ford stuff on a Chevy.lol

Actually those Ford 33/34 horns are made in China...they buy our scrap steel..so maybe they're made from melted down Chevys' with some Harley parts thrown in for lubrication ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I agree with Chemong55 I can't put Ford parts on my 1932, I have a set of 39 Ford lights but I can't bring myself to use them.

Turn those tail lights upside down .Those FURD guys wont know the difference.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all from Wayne & Barbara. And don't forget we build Street Rods.not hot rods
-
actually INDIAN motorcycles, the new reincarnated one, make a fantastic teardrop tail light. See if I can find a picture and post it. Perfect light for a street rod/hot rod.
just searched and its a VICTORY motorcycle tail light cannot find a good image to copy.
here it is-----------

I once put FURD taillights on a chevy. On the back of my chevy silverado lowrider I put a set of rare and hard to find Comet S-22 rear taillights just because i wanted sequential taillights at the back.
