Some of you may remember a thread I started on hood straps to be used when running a half hood. I made a set that I really like, but would like to make another using 1 1/2 " wide leather.
Does anyone know where I can purchase the stainless steel buckles and footman in 1 1/2 "?

Munch did you check out the Strapworks link at the bottom of the page? I just checked it out they have some buckels and footman loops. It was under metal hardware.
The only place I could find that had the buckel you had listed was Limeworks speed shop. They had it listed as a kit from $250-270, and they were only 1 1/4". :-\
Speedway has these, says chrome/ 1.88" overall, 1.05" inner.

Good to know. I will be needing some also.

have a look on ebay for DOOR CHECK LEATHER STRAPS, common to fords and also 34 + up chevy trucks. I bought a pair for my roadster. Stuffed away somewhere. Leathers to short but the buckles are nice.

I really like the looks and operation of those buckles, but don't see them any where in 1 1/2. Dang...
