 Hello every one. I would like to know what you used for the front seats of your car? I was in Edmonton the other day and I found an upholstery shop that was closing it's doors and it was the last day open. I ended up buying 13 yards of premium vinyl from the fellow and I got a smoking deal, only cost $65 as it was the last of their stock.  I am going to recover a set of buckets myself. I already own a sewing machine and have done a little bit of  seat recovering a long time ago  and I would like to give it a try again. Show us pictures of your seats, interior shots as well and maybe we can archive the results so others can use this as a starting point. I posted a pic of my material, it's called oxblood  and it will be the main colour throughout the car. I will be using the faux leather vinyl for the seat inserts and on the door panels as well, I included the pics of this as well. I can't decide between the emu/ostrich or the alligator/ crocodile. Don't be shy, show us what you have done. Thanks fellows.

Nice looking patterns....I used an S10 truck seat in my 33...wanted the extra 'Butt Surface".  I assume you have a walking foot machine...I found a "NOS" Juki LU-563 that was used as a display model ...still learning.

If need be we can always start an upholstery section.

  I have 1958 mercedes benz 300sl buckets in my 28.They have been there since 1962.

Just pulled my 34 out of storage..these seats were in it when I bought it. They are comfortable and even recline flat.

Edny, they look pretty comfortable. This is something that I could recover myself, Thanks for showing me your seats. My sewing machine does have a walking foot but it just a simple straight stitch machine. Bought new through eBay a couple of years ago. My shop is close to being finished so I am hoping to do the  coupe interior this winter. Should be interesting as I haven't done any of this stuff for almost 40 years. I am sure it will be an "adventure "  to say the least.

I'm going to use the seats out of a mid 90's Mitsubishi Eclipse.  They are gray leather and the drivers is a power seat that works well.  I'm about 5' 11" and my daughter is about 5' 3" so it'll come in handy when she drives it.  I've had them in the car and they just make it width wise.  They are real comfortable so I'm looking forward to taking them for a ride.  I hope to mount them permanently after the wiring is done,

Tfoch, those are nice and compact looking seats. I am not sure just what I am looking for yet . Seen some older 70's bucket seats out of a camaro that I like. The more seats we show here , the easier it will be to know what to look for. Thanks for showing me your buckets.

Thanks guys. I placed them in the car tonight to give you a better idea how they would fit.  They fill the passenger compartment real well.  I have enough room to put my emergency brake handle in between the two seats.
