I took on a quick little rust patch job today for a friend of mine.  '61 Ford Starliner rear trunk floor brace, both ends were pretty much gone.
He tried to patch one end, had to just cut all off and redo. ;D

Now i've got to modify his big 'ol air cleaner to a dual snorkle. He wants it all straightened and metal finished fine as he is powder coating it.   He's building up a Mercury Murader 410 (FE) for it and mating it up with a Tremec tko-600 5-speed :o    The guy building it said with Edelbrock aluminium heads and intake it will weigh what a 289 does.

That looks great.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

After my 12"  LED light bar was installed, these spot lights weren't up to the task anymore.
So I picked up this 29" bar for the roof rack when desert night driving.

The old spots will go on the 32 for auxiliary lights since they have the right amount of patina on em.

Also I started my YouTube channel
(Aired down and disconnected)
and here's a test video of the light bar. Has white and amber with 5 strobe functions. HELLA BRIGHT.

Happy daylight savings time.  8) :o

Rattiac I looked up your Youtube video. Damn, them are bright. I'd get myself in trouble with that flashing mode.  ;D

Yeah they are super bright. I was originally looking for a fog light then I started thinking about a white/green combo. Since green is used for night vision goggles, the eye picks up details easier but.... green is more expensive and used for  snowplows and other emergency vehicles.
This Cree white/amber bar fit my budget better $70.  The strobe was just a bonus I'll hardly use, just for fun.
I have a solo desert trip in 2 weeks to get ready for and by the time I get there it'll be dark, plus it's very remote. Im hoping I'll be able to find the turnoff easier since it's hard to find during the daytime.
So far the cabinets are done in the teardrop and paint is almost done. The hatch still needs paint, carpet and a folding shelf mod.
So much to do and so little time.
Im thinking by June the 32 will get some attention.

Rattiac

You reminded me of the 1995 Jeep a bought a couple weeks ago for $1500 for grandson to drive around on our farm. It's a 4 cyl 5 speed with fiberglass tilt front end.  The guy just had the head done and couldn't get it running right after that, it ran rough and real rich.  He even threw in an extra engine that he thought it might need.  Anyway towed it home, plugged in my scanner and got a "high MAP sensor voltage" reading.  Looked at the MAP sensor and it wasn't plugged in ???  Believe it or not it took me some time to find the connector in the engine bay but once I plugged it in...the Jeep runs 100%.  Never owned a Jeep but I really like it.  It came with a 4" lift but small tires...I found that nice set of 33X10.5X15 tires on 8" rims for $150 on Craigslist.

Not the best picture & it is a little muddy right now - another storm is kicking in.

Good score on the jeep.  8)

I have a cousin that just bought a farm in New York somewhere. So far it sounds like they are living the dream.

I kinda like these small projects. Friend with the '28 furd pu couldn't find the right inner windshield trim uprights, kept getting ones that were supose to be right and weren't. So he asked me to fix this swiss cheese left inner, right was just pitted. Most I slowly mig welded up but I had to put a metal backer in a few stress places, so I had him take it back to be sure it fit proper. All clear so I can finish up.

Crusty swiss cheese start
