Been fighting a lean condition on the '39.  As some may know it has a 2003 LSx engine.  Replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter/regulator/ lines and hunted the intake all over for a vacuum leak.  Nothing.  New gas and injector cleaner then an 80 mile drive...nothing.  Long term fuel trims max at 25% and will go down slightly but still way off where they should be.  Talked to PSI who provided the harness and reprogrammed the ECU.  During the discussion we discovered the ECU was programmed for 30 lb injectors and I have 22 lb.  Shipped the ECU to them on Monday, they got it Wed, reprogrammed and got it back to me Fri. AT NO COST.  Ready for a long distance test now.

Jerry That should solve the problem. There is a ton of difference in fuel delivery between 22lb and 30lb injectors. Let us know how it works out. Ron

Sammons, Sorry about your pal. We've been here over 40 years. The dog cemetery is large but every one breaks my heart. :(

Thanks fellas! Something we all go thru from time to time :(  My problem is I let this guy get way too close. With him always 3ft away from me 24/7, it takes some getting use too.

Happy Birthday Rattiac! Haha, too bad you couldn't take the day off for fishing! Have a good one anyway. :)

I'm very sorry to hear about the Inspector, Sammons, he was a fixture here. It will just take some time.

I'm not an LS guy yet, in the process of converting but aren't 22Lb injectors sound kinda small for any LS? Heck I have 24lb injectors on my 350 TPI engine and just bought a set of 26lb injectors for when I install the Stealth Ram setup. Curious what kind of fuel pressure are you running with the 22lb units.

This weekend it the T-Bucket Nationals in Carson City. They are arriving from all over now. If all the fiberglass in Nevada turns to crap this place is really going to stink!  :o
