Looks great!

And the flames must be good for melting the snow.

RH,
Looks like it came that way.  Very nice!

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

I like that car.  Oboy, do I like that car.  I REALLY like that car.

Now you've got me to thinking...and sometimes that's not a good thing.  The way you took the sedan and added the rear window panels was pretty darned good. I REALLY like that idea.  Oh, I already said that, didn't I?

Now you see, the trouble is that one of my rear windows is broken.  Naturally, after seeing your version of a '35 sedan, and being a wood guy and all, I'm very seriously thinking about switching to an SD.  Yours just looks SOOOO good.  Everything on your car came out perfectly, I'm truly in awe.

But what I think is the absolute best is that flame job.  Honest to Pete, the difference between the car when it was all red and when the flames went on is like night and day.  I do plan on having a hood on mine which I hope will allow continuity of the flames.

You can expect to be getting more than a few questions from me, so I hope you won't mind.  A thousand thank you's for posting all this great stuff!

Thank you very much cocobolo - I do appreciate it! Of course I'll be happy to answer any question I can. Send me an email anytime - I've got lots of photos and am always glad to share.

Yah the flame job took a few tries to come with a layout that I finally was happy with, and we had to do the colors a couple times to get them just right too - but it was worth the extra time and effort (and $$$  :)

RH , you have a really nice sedan delivery clone and I mean that in a good way. Cocobolo is lucky I never saw this car or he might have never gotten his '35 out of my yard. I had toyed with your idea of blanking the windows out  then I found my 36'  coupe and I sold him the '35.  I am pretty sure he likes your car, lol. Very nicely done and would love to see more of this car in the  future.

RH...I think that both my rear window winders still work.  I wonder if a guy could install something instead of the glass, maybe wood with some sort of protective coating of 6 oz. f/g cloth, and use that instead of a fixed panel?  Light weight...easy to do...the wheels are turning...just have to feed the hamster.  :)

Why not use a real dark glass. Back in the day some sedan deliverys had glass back there to let light in they were sold to flower shops for the purpose of delivering flowers, and even to this day they are still called flower cars.

If you look at the photo of my chevy in the gallery it has 5% black limo window tint on the back windows. I drove it that way for a year or so, but it just wasn't what I was after. though an easy choice and looks fine!

After looking at your '35...again and again...I'm certain you chose the right avenue.  It wouldn't quite look like an S/D with glass.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Tom - they're 15x8 wheels...
These are BF Goodrich Long Trail TA Tour 265/75. Keep in mind that while the body is all steel, my fenders are fiberglass and 2" wider than stock. Hope that helps
I had a hunch your rear fenders were a little wider than stock.  I measured the side to side on mine, and they are 10" at the widest point.  With the tire/wheel combinations I'm looking at I may need to go an extra 2 1/2" or even 3", but I don't want to make it too much otherwise I'm afraid it won't look right.
Can I get you to measure the actual height of both your front and rear tires please?  I'm very curious to see what that would be.  I hope to be able to use 10" wide rims on the rear, and 6" wide on the front.
