Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Exhaust done ...Went with 22" glass packs ....now going to work on original rear fenders....and a little more body work. Install glass and get it on the road...

Rear fender work...took fenders down to a friend of ours he worked the tail end and center part....last 2 photos getting to fit tail pan better

Wow, that RR rear fender had been beat up real good.   Your friend is making a great save.  Careful metal thickness is not reduced to un-workable.

Looks so much better than the way to wide glass fender.

Rather than applying bondo over top to finish , you could go old school with lead.  EASTWOOD sells kits to do it.
