Yes....352  hp range  and   in the low 400 fp torque...

Steve had a well known engine builder in this area that does a lot of  drag strip  and roundy round  motors ...Shinook  Engine builders in Tahlequah Ok....was going to go with aluim. heads but decided against it...I am satisfied with  the numbers...but not in my jingle account...but it's  ready to run.....

Ed my phone wouldn't load the movie but just seen your first pic. I think i've heard that name before, at least it sounds familiar.  My little 301 might get close to that hp number if I wind it tight enough. ;D Uncle said they were turning them 9-9.5  at the dirt track in the early/mid 60's. :o

Looking forward to the updates :D
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Ed it's good to here your getting back to it, you should be real close to it moving around on it's own. :)   Wish I was, thinking of moving my coupe down to the shop for long term storage till I get back on my feet  . Keep at it man! :-\
Dang COE hood/grill got complicated, grill fit is done but having to build new hood edges  and inner structure due to the thing being so split up and twisted out of shape everywhere.

Nice fit, Ed, the steering too.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Had these Ram Horn headers from a build that I didn't use ...so I put them on the '33...problem is now the spark plug wire holders don't bolt up to the valves covers as the ram horns are in the way...so I thought of mounting them like this....now I have to make sure the wires don't hit the headers and burn up...is there any kind of insulation that is available that will slip over the spark plug wires? Don't want any thing that wraps on the wire....and again I my not have an issue with hitting or being close to the headers ...what you think if the way its mounted?....might just change the wires out and route the wires differently and not use the holders

I run mine behind the head then down below the rear exhaust port and  come up to the plugs. Run the front two down  next the oil pan and use the oil pan bolt with adel clamp to keep them away from the collector , then run the front two  up thru and behind the engine mount. (Between the block and back of engine mount.) I try to hide as much wiring as I can. Hope I explained well enough. Ron

Your engine looks real nice Ed.   I've used both these Speedway spark plug wire insulators on various builds, especialy with headers.

Like Chevron said, run them underneath. The 60s stock Chevy routing, here is a pic. I've done this on most that I have stock type exhaust manifolds on and on my coupe as the sprint car headers pretty much go straight out for 10-12" before turning down.
