Will be out for a bit...painted my face!
« on: December 21, 2012, 09:40:30 PM »
FYI: No biggie...but I was in my shop today working on an engine run stand and while holding a full can of "Chevy Engine Orange" tripped and fell. The can of paint hit the stand and blew about 10 inches from my face.

My glasses helped some... 8)  My face and beard got a super coat of Chevy Orange..flushed my eyes out...but they are red and stinging a bit...& will be fine.

Would have posted a picture...but I know it would have made it's rounds! ;D

Probably won't be doing to much typing for a day or so...but do know what I look like with a "Bowtie Orange Beard"!

Hey Ed,
Glad to hear you're OK and glad you were wearing glasses.  You can always shave the orange beard if you don't like it :)
Tom
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

LOL  I am glad you are OK, but I almost fell out of my chair I was  laughing so hard. Hey if you were in Colorado or at least the Denver area we could mix a little ford blue,
and WALLA  instant Bronco fan.

Just got back from the eye doctor...my actions of flushing my eyes with warm water did the trick. They want me back Wed for a follow-up....they removed the paint from my eye lashes.  Guess the acetone in the paint burned my eye lenses some...but all is good. Will be wearing sunglasses for a couple of days...my eye balls are now "bowtie blood shot red" if there is such a color!

Take care
