Thanks guys.
I still need to adjust the passenger side a bit more and spray some flat back on em.

What are you guy's using to undercoat your fenders (particularly fiberglass) ?
I sprayed some black for now.

The car is doing good in this heat though. Been upper 90's here.

On my fiberglass parts I just used 3m rattle can undercoating, I have found if you spray it threw straw like whats on a WD40 can, spray it in light coats and it will have a nice even texture to it

I'm with 61231. I just used rattle can undercoating. I do wish I knew about the straw trick, though.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Just readjusted the passenger fender.
Now it's aligned with the other, looking from the rear, just below the bumper but level.
Im happy with that. 😊

Cleaned, scuffed up the fenders, cleaned again and sprayed some flat black.
Looks much better.
Wish my tags would show up so I can go for a cruise.😢

Looks good Rattiac!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

It looks great! It needs to be driven, Will it pull the new trailer?

Thanks. Im so glad I finally got em, I almost picked up a shotgun instead but that can wait for a bit.

I think it'll pull the trailer, has the power and 3:73's but not sure the frame will handle it.
Need to weigh the trailer. Good thing my dad is a trucker and has a scale at work.
Maybe one day I'll hook it up just to see what it's like.😶

When I tore my coupe apart I sold almost everything that I wasn't going to re-use. Then I took that money and used it to buy what I needed for the build. It moved the project along pretty quick.

Since I didn't go to speedweek. I decided to throw a tune on the 32. Even busted out the vacuum gauge. Carb is now nicely tuned.
While I was at it I put the steering stabilizer back on. Proceeded to the freeway and cranked it up to 85. Did well.
Took Max out for a quick cruise too. 🐕
It's been awhile for him.
