I like it, and the patina of the grill looks good with it also.

Mentioned this before..picked up a 33 Master mascot on eBay for $40 that was painted red to cover the pitting (looked bad). I dropped it in a can of carburetor cleaner.....sanded some pitting off and tried powder coating for the first time..first a coating of chrome powder..then a clear coat.  The clear coat dulls out the chrome look...this was done 3-4 years ago..I'll redo it when the car is ready for the road since the chrome powder coating technology has improved. Acceptable for a street rod.

its brand new, its reproduction, its flawless.   At $169 ? its a no brainer.  You could not find 7 buy an original and get it replated for anywhere near that $$$$$.

nothing wrong with that price and the guy has sold 750 of them.

When i woke up this am i thought i had died and gone to heaven all i could see was stars, and then i realized I had sleep in my eyes and beer in my tummy,my eyes were shut and then i realized where i was. It was minus 25 at 730 this morning and that was without the wind chill factor counted in.I am trying to figure out what we did to deserve this ,or if maybe the planet shifted and how to shift it back, and no her eyes don't light up,but the wife's sure did when she fist layed eyes on it, and yes i ducked. I told here i would get her a new one.I thought she was going to cry,so i gave her the hole thing to rad cap and all so she could put it back on the fireplace mantel.  vette59jdwl

Odered me up some of those Stage 8 Locking header bolts from summit . When I get those in I'll pull the headers and paint em' (factory paint burned off) . ;D
The wood holding up the back window broke and partially fell down ::) . Sounds like a good steel project . Gotta start somewhere.
Went to my first carshow this year and there was a 30' Oakland , and a 32 buick parked a few spots away .  8)

Worked on my oil leak today. New gaskets are in and will be torquing it down tomorrow before heading to a cruise-in .

Rattiac  your driving the old girl to hard and your going to shake all that old wood out of the old girl. You could get some git rot and place the wood back to hold up the window and cover all the wood with this git rot It should hold the old girl together if you just slow down a bit and avoid all those ruts in the road lol lol vette59jdwl
