Was going over the wiring.  Couldn't get the big plug to connect,  had to do some sanding to the edges to fit right. 
Spring finally hit here,  so I hooked up the trailer and went out to the Pony express trail in search of the wild horse herd . Camping at Simpson Springs.  All I found was 3 horses scattered across the valley range.  Stars were spectacular though.  Helped a guy broken down but his was a catastrophic trans issue.  Missing dipstick.
He had a ride coming and eventually a tow truck showed up before dark.
This weekend is yard work.  Hopefully back to the car next week.

Today after yard work I got the turn signals wired up.  Then the plug painless supplied wouldn't click together.  Tried the other and it fit just fine, so I swapped the wires over to that.  Luckily with this lil tool I could get the wires to release easily.
Maybe ignition switch and neutral safety switch tomorrow.

After some yard work I spent most of the day in the shop.
Pulled the ignition switch out of the dash and slowly started rerouting , transferring wires and soldering them together.
Plugged the battery back in and put the key in and fired right up  .

A few things left before I hit the road. 
Get wires back under dash
See why horn doesn't work. 
Tighten up steering wheel adapter
Remove floor shifter,  cover hole in floor
Remove toeboard
Bend brake pedal over a tad.
Remove clutch pedal.

Oh, the ignition key hole will be replaced with a cigarette lighter/usb  charger.  Just happened to be the perfect size.

Great progress. Good to see someone getting somewhere!

Feels good to actually get something done. 
After work I adjusted the neutral safety switch,  had to hog out the screw holes and get it as far left as I could.  .  Messed with the 2 wire horn button.  I just needed to ground the 2nd wire and use one of the bolt holes in the adapter. 
Might be able to drive it to work next week.
