Thanks, guys. Yes, the boys are excited, and my 18 year old wants to know when he can drive it! Got the wiring harness today, so I hope to make some progress with that this weekend.

Jim,
Have you been riding around in the 32 at all?

Hey Tom. Yes, I have had it out just about every weekend, each time I take it for longer and further trips, and so far it is turning out to be very reliable. It brakes and handles well and is even kind of comfortable. It is a blast!!
The wiring is done and it was much easier than I thought it would be. I have the seatbelts in and most of the glass. I am starting to work out some of the kinks and  details now; door glass, gauges, a little interior work, bumpers, etc.
My friend, who sold me my car, invited me to an annual picnic thrown by the car club he belongs to (Philadelphia Modifiers) on the 30th. I am anxious to take the car there and see what the other guys think.
BTW- I let my, now, 19 year old son drive the car. He is not into cars too much, but I know he got a kick out of it.

Jim, It sounds like you've been enjoying it. When we went to the Father's Day Car Show this weekend my daughter said she can't wait to drive it into a show to see everyone's reaction. She's a 25 year old 3rd grade teacher.  She wants to take it to her school when we get it on the road to show her students.

That's great, Tom, that you have a daughter who's into cars! I do have 11 and 13 year old sons who argue over who is going to get the coupe when I die :o Thanks boys!

Make sure you paint that car AFTER those third graders get ahold of it.

Chopper,
Once you get those seats back what are your plans for the winter?

Hey TFoch, my plans are to try and get the majority of the interior finished. I also want to try and get it primed. Then come spring I will block it out and paint it and finish off the interior. Then I will talk my wife into starting another one, maybe a sedan with all the bells and whistles, that I can fit the family in.

I'm going to look for the best, least expensive project I can find. I passed up a 1934 Furd 4 door about two years ago for $4,200. It had a Furd sb drivetrain in it. I probably should have grabbed it. About a year ago I passed up a 1934 Chevy 2 door for $4,500. I just wasn't ready. But I'm getting ready ;D I just hope my wife thinks so.

Tom, I like that '33 in Connecticut, it just might be a little too soon. I am going to watch it, though. Thanks!! Jim

I would watch the 33 Connecticut also, there's no reserve on it . it looks to be a complete car.

The listing doesn't show there being a reserve, but if you look further down the seller added info. twice saying the reserve was lowered. Interested to see how this shakes out...........I'm not even asking my wife about this.

Chopper it looks to me the seller is a very motivated. He waited three day and dropped the price for the second time.

62131, I'll watch it just to see what happens. It looks real nice and complete, like you said, but I am not quite in the market yet. If I don't finish the 5 window first my wife will have my hide.
