Don't mess with Mother Nature...she has spoken ;D ;D ;D ;D

We had a mini snow storm today...check out the back window of my dually....I didn't touch or alter the sticker...only blacked out my license plate!

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

You can bet he is not going away, and many of his supporters will still be voting. Republicans may never win another national election but the CS republican state and local office holders who turned their backs on Trump will not have a happy new year.

So snow doesn't stick to him.   ::)  They tried to get everything else to stick!  ;D
That is a great photo by the way!
Why is it important to block a license plate number?

This is really getting crazy. The Authorities are blocking streets in Carson City and getting ready for we hope doesn't happen. We hoped the crap this summer had not happened but the Authorities pretty much just sat back and let it happen. Big mess.

Yes a very unsettling time. Less speech will make it worse and crazy speech won't help. No speech matters if no one listens.  :(

Don't like this:

They blame the extreme right...but forget that the extreme left may have fired them up...the media isn't helping at all.

Is that the same racist National Guard they hated during the left's riots in 2020? Funny how much they are being "respected" now in the media and how much cops are being praised and used to stop the mostly peaceful demonstrations. If anything good came from the event at the Capitol it is that the entire Congress now knows that the violence they allowed, an in some cases supported, last summer will not be confined to far away places that does not effect them.

What happened inside the Capitol was wrong and any number of wrongs don't make anything right, But now that we see the difference in how the wrong doers are treated depending on their political views we can see our future. While the FBI and other law enforcement are scouring the Country and arresting violent protestors they have to round up ALL of them including the ones who took part in the 2020 riots all over the Country.

I'm very happy that everyone now agrees that walls and fences can keep people safe.

This is insanity and I prepose that after, what I pray is a peaceful transition next week, all of the new fences will stay in place and EVERYONE who works inside of them will become the first patients in a brand new Federal Mental Institution where they can be  receive the treatment they so clearly need. The seat of Government could be moved to some place in Kansas, a more central location, where hopefully US Citizens could fairly and openly elect representatives who will do the business of The People by actually talking to and working with each other rather than talking about and undermining each other at the cost of The People. We need a government staffed by people who understand their job description and who will work to make things better for for us and not themselves. NO ONE should become rich while holding a public office. We don't need a professional ruling class. We need dedicated public servants. To begin with they must live under the same laws that we do with the same benefits and tax system.

Sometimes the truth can make us smile because we can see that none of this is new and that both sides make the same claims. Mark Twain had different views from me on politics but not on people. sometimes I have to to laugh at the idea that humans are capable of self governance.  ;D
