Back story that most likely everyone knows. A Monolith appeared on the far side of the moon in the movie "2001, a space odyssey". Movie was adapted from a one page SciFi story where the monolith was placed there by aliens. It's purpose was to alert the aliens when we had evolved enough to go to the moon, find the monolith and break it, thereby stopping the transmission. Last line in the story was something like "Older civilizations are usually jealous of younger ones".

Good story. Makes you wonder, but I say use common sense and look at the evidence to solve this: What is it made of? How deep in the ground does it go? How recently disturbed does surrounding soil appear to be? Where's the closest town? Answer a bunch of questions like this, and it could be solved...â€¦â€¦...or it could just become more mysterious... MOOOHAHA!!!!!

Maybe it points to the crevasse in the rock where there is an entrance to a tunnel that leads to the Money Pit on Oak Island.

Well, it looks like it's already been found on Google maps. Someone from Reddit posted cordinates.
38Â°20'35"N 109Â°39'58"W
Not far from a dirt road and maybe a mile hike.
Date of birth/build is sometime between 2014-16.
If you look closely there are cuts in the rock from a concrete saw.
People are already flocking to it and posting videos.
