Introduction
« on: December 04, 2012, 03:25:51 PM »
A buddy from the HAMB just turned me on to this forum. It already looks like it is off to a great start. I've had a ton of cars over the last 40 years, but for the last two years I have been working on a 1932 5 window coupe. It was a '60's/'70's hotrod a friend of mine had built. It had been sitting for about the last 25 years and I had been bugging him to sell me the car for about the same length of time. He finally gave in and the last two years have been a blast. I pretty much took it down to the frame rails and with the help of a lot of knowledgeable people it is up and running, (and I think looking pretty good too!) but not quite streetable, but hopefully by the spring. I look forward to meeting all you guys! Jim

Welcome and thanks for signing up.  Talking about old builds, my 34 (3) window coupe (the blue one in the header above) has a 307 engine and 350THM trans.  The chassis work was done with "stick" and has some vintage angle iron for braces etc...Not doing anything with it until I get my 33 up and running.

Hey Jim, Glad to have you on board. This should be a great place to share all the Chevy info.  Tom
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Hey Jim...Welcome abroad! Glad to hear that your 32 is almost ready to terrorize the local streets. As you can probably guess I have a soft spot for those 5 window coupes. Post some photos when you get a chance.
