Yeah with the severe drought here in Massachusetts seems like some colors than they all fall off! Most of the trees are stressed out and they are in survival mode! Today started on my Roadster upholstery! I can hold my own with doing most Upholstey work but the Roadster Roof top is the most difficult to do so am having my friends upholstery shop giving me some help! Here’s a few pictures of Mikes friend Earls 35 Chevrolet Roadster with a new top and side curtains! Will do my Roadster top very similar to Earl’s Roadster Roof top with the original looks! I am doing almost all isinglass on the side curtains with about 2 inch material boarders! Mainly for visibility! RoarsRods

Here’s the updates on my 34 Chevrolet Roadster upholstery! Plus got the leather door panels and trunk divider out to the embroidery shop for my Holden Lion logo! Got panels all marked out for stitching, lower doors kick carpet and door pockets location! RoarsRods

Looks like your buddy's shop does some top notch work. I can't wait to see how yours turns out, and the interior too. You're doing a great job there. Very cool.

Thanks guys for all of your compliments! Overall I’m going above and beyond with this build! 1934 Chevrolet Holden Roadster upholstery updates! Plus had to order from Australia 2 inside door handle panel escutcheon cast SST! All of this upholstery is all custom and even better than LeBaron Bonney reproduction! RoarsRods

Nice!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Thanks guys for all your compliments! Here’s a few recent pictures of my Roadster upholstery! Plus opened up a can of worms when the 90 degree roof top brackets were lose! So took off the canvas upholstery and then could see that the bow wood holes were opened up over time! Used the stock original roof top wood bow as a pattern and made the new one out of Walnut! Still in the hardwood family! Ash is what most people use! Now expoy the bolts in place then will clear coat seal the new piece! RoarsRods

Funny what almost 90 years will do to a piece of wood ;D Looks like you did a really fine job with that walnut.

My 34 Chevrolet Australia Holden Roadster just got back from help at my friends upholstery shop! I did all of the cream tan leather interior and brown square weave wool carpet but needed help with my new tan roof top! Now dealing with a few issues that my Roadster has! Hey don’t we all have issues? LMAO 🤣

Once again too new for me but beautifully and skillfully done. Great color choices.I'd like to see more of the top when you get it back out.
