Hello there. I thought I joined quite a while ago but couldn't seem to find my log in info so here I am again. My name is Frank, as if my screen name doesn't give that away,..lol. I live in RI. A few years ago I met Ed when he drove all the way down to my place from his place in NY to buy some fiberglass front fenders and running boards for a 33 Chevy I had for sale on Craigslist.

If first impressions mean anything, Ed seemed to be a genuinely nice person and my kind of guy. And even though we had never met before, and we were only meeting this time to buy and sell a few car parts, Ed brought me a six pack of some local brew that was only available in his neck of the woods. I'm sure it didn't cost him a ton, but like they say, "it's the thought that counts",....well,...that was a truly awesome "thought",...to bring me a friendly token of friendship. I've never forgotten that.

Here's a photo of my 33 Chevy 3 window coupe.

I was going to mention that S10 when I made my first post about you coming all the way down from the Canadian border. You got your moneys worth out of that little truck, that's for sure.  :D

And Ed,.... if you're ever down here in RI again let me know. I've moved form Smithfield where you met me for those parts, and I'm now about 20 miles closer to you in the North West corner of RI in Harrisville (Burrillville). I'm just a couple miles away from both the MA and CT borders.

Frank, interesting 1933 Chevrolet master series 3 window, definitely old school 50's style.  What I would refer to as a typical east coast style of the era.

My friend rick the welder had one with 289 stude motor, model T ford front fenders and brass rad shell,  33 master rears bobbed, and a quarter to quarter full red tail light.  It had flames on it over a similar yellow.  Last I saw the car was Knoxville TENN. 15 years ago

Yes Mike,....more East coast vibe for sure. It has a 3 inch chop, with a 2 inch channel job and a 32 Ford grille and Ford rear bumper. The look is old school but there's a lot of modern touches. It has an Outlaw frame, hyme joint front end, LT1 350 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an old school Edelbrock X-C8 dual carb intake with dual Holly 4 barrels on it. A built for drag racing turbo 400 auto, with reversed manual valve body and no engine braking, (it's got to go..lol), with a Hurst Quarter stick shifter to handle the manual shifting.

57 Chevy rear end, coil overs, and 10 inch true "reversed" chrome wheels in back.

Modern touches are a Pioneer stereo (that I never turn on,...haha), power windows, power antenna, and tilt wheel.

I'll try to post a few more pictures soon.  ;)

Frank, Welcome to the site. We need new blood and new topics. You'll find a good group here. Nice guys that still let me hang around is proof of that. Lots of Bowtie knowledge too.
