Well I've been busy training my replacement at work,I'll be retiring April 30th, 36 years as a power transmission specialist. This generation coming in has a whole different mind set, on servicing a customer  ???

Post a pic when it's done.  Nice looking car!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Cool Chevelle! Make sure and post a pic of that car when your done.

Dad bought a '67 Malibu conv from a waitress here back in mid 70s for his friends boy. She ran in ditch on a muddy road and knocked the qtr panel in. It was Marina blue, black top, 327 and 3-spd floor shift. Beautiful car.

Post office called yesterday, said I had a package. Made it out today to go get it, 4' long thin box? I didn't order anything and didn't have my glasses, so had to wait till i got home. Sent from my friend in San Diego. A nice street sign, don't know the story yet as I haven't contacted him yet. Thing is kinda heavy, 3/16" thick top and bottom and 3/32" in center (aluminium). He does work at a sign design company so maybe made an extra or it has a flaw.
Growing up I always had an Elcamino we use to cruise in. Now I have to find wall space and figure out how to hang it.😁

The Royal Road, pretty classy! It runs between all the missions in California, all the way to Mexico City I think.

Nice sign, nice surprise, good friend. I'm sure you'll find a spot where everyone can see it.

Hi Guys hope all is going well!
Give you heads up that I just sold most of my 34 Chevrolet Standard Complete Rolling Driving and parts! Here’s some of the Speedster cars from my new Facebook buyer!
Plus my full front bench seats and rumble seats plus all the interior Roadster panels upholstery!
The Facebook guy from New Hampshire builds early 30’s Boat Tail from steel Speedsters  and that’s his plan for my 34 Chevrolet frame! He’s keeping all the drivetrain parts plus the 6V setup! So happy that it’s finally getting used! He even had wanted my old 34 Chevrolet Holden windshield frame but I said no  and I would hang that up in my mans cave to remember my Dad!
Facebook market place is a very powerful selling tool plus I had my Facebook ad posted for almost 2 years on over 20 different Facebook Car sites including Hot Rod Facebook sites World Wide!
Hope your getting to enjoy your cars with finally opening up the Country!

I'm glad you found a good home for your rolling chassis. It looks like he does very nice work. I've seen pictures of the black one before.

Started out to give the Silverado a spring cleaning, so I got it out of the garage. Then I remembered we broke my nieghbors cheap ratchet strap last week after I got stuck next to creek mowing, he pulled me out with his mower. I got the strap sewed back up, only lost 11" in length.

Looked at the mess in garage, started picking up tools and remembered i lost a deck wheel and bracket, found it in yard. Got that put back on, decided to re sharpen blades before running it back out. Shut off in floor heat for summer.

Stopped for a late lunch, heard kids playing down at creek. School just got out monday. Put dishes in sink and seen a boy outback carrying my ladder away🤯 Hollered at him to put it back....it wasn't his!  He said sorry, and put it back. I kinda felt bad about being short with him. Put more stop leak in tires and mower finished and out. Went down to creek and said i was sorry for hollering, but he would too if i took his bike. He appoligised again. Told the four boys next time knock on the door and ask. They said they were just making a trail thru the trees. Warned them to becarefull of broken glass in the sand that washes down there from time to time and to have fun🙂

Good to see kids playing (5th-6th graders) and not on their cell phones👍  Guess finish garage and Silverado clean up tomorrow. How easily I get side tracked.
