My boss used to get trailer loads of coffee and put it on his garden . Helps with our soil here.
There was a bit that spilled on his grass. The grass turned bright green and grew way faster.

The Amish here puts fresh milk on their gardens, sounds strange but they have the nicest vegetables,

All the coffee grounds and other kitchen waste end up in the garden compost pile along with the chicken poop. With my soil test kit it looks good. I tend to over water and that is as bad as under watering. I think it's harder than working on cars at least harder to figure out what isn't working.  >:(  :)

Today was the last day of deer season here. I hunted pretty hard yesterday in an area where we had seen a small forked horn buck. I saw nothing during a few miles of walking. I was going to pass on it today but when dawn came around I crawled out of bed to check that spot one more time. A little after 7:00 AM I was cleaning a nice 3 point buck, 6 point in the east. Getting him to and into the truck was tough, but he is hanging in the barn now. Pretty good day for a one eyed 75 year old loner using a rifle I put together in 1970. I feel pretty good, sorta' juiced!  8)

Car related? I've been abusing the crap out of the '92 Suburban I got when my buddy dies last year. I'm the 4th owner among my friends. it preformed far beyond what I would have ever thought. The fiberglass running boards are all but gone. I cut the sidewall on one tire. It's leaking tranny fluid. But it's been through a lot of country that folks that think of themselves as "off roaders" will never see. Though old land Yacht!

Well back to the Chevy stuff.  It was in the mid 70's today.  Took the 33 for a ride and watched the odometer turn past 7,500 miles ;D

Tom, Sounds like your having a great time with your 33 Chevrolet! You got me beat as I only put on 500 miles in these last few months with my 34 Roadster recent build!
Yesterday morning we had an earthquake 4.2 here In New Bedford and had felt like a big truck or huge helicopter overhead here at my Eastham Cape Cod house! News said that people as far as New Hampshire had felt it! Here in Massachusetts we get about one around here per year! Here’s tonight’s ocean sunset! RoarsRods

That looks great! Maybe with the new truck you could remodel another trailer into a mobile top shop to service all your Rusty Bowtie friends.  ::)

My whole day is nothing but car related.
Today finished up this mustang top. While waiting for a piece of trim to show up , I was transferred to this 95 Pontiac Firehawk to do the headliner. It had 5,400 miles on it 😯. Super clean inside.
Then once I removed the headliner , glued it and letting it sit for 24 hrs. I was transferred to some tarp repair.
Big heavy duty tarps to cover salt mounds.
Then the part showed up for the mustang, 15 mins later it was out the door, then back to the tarp. Oh yeah in between all that I was sewing up some Bronco seats.
Must be Friday. :o

Yesterday I moved things around in the shop and put the 32 sideways up against the back wall.

Took 2 hrs to get it to start. Darn mechanical pump had it at 10psi the first crank and then stayed at 5-7 psi after that.
Probably gonna use a fluid transfer pump and suck the gas out. Then put a gallon of fresh ethanol free with stabil in and run it a bit for storage.
Should be enough room for the trailer inside once I make another dump run.
