Yep, those Prairie Rattlers are pretty angry/aggressive bunch around here.

Rattiac, kuddos to you for making those masks. Thats too bad about the 1k lot built, if the need arises there, they will be screaming for any type mask. What a waist, total stupidity on their part. They could have returned or give them out. 😡  Sixball is right on, WHO/CDC been saying "no reason for public to be wearing masks is about to change!

Holding off on Viking grille surround, need help and Tom is busy at work. So my other buddy brought his son's '70 Chevy p.u. doors by. He doesn't have time to work on them and didn't really want to.

My 3M #8210 N95 masks are running low. Have two new and one that is really getting dirty. I blew it out lastnight, much better. My new mower blades got in today at the parts house. Checked to see if he still had any N95's, yep two left. Then he had reguler dust masks. I oppted for the reg dust mask pack of 12 for $2.95 😁

Just because you are a medical professional doesn't mean you are smart. One man's uncertified mask could be another man's lifesaver.

My wife made us some cloth masks..this is for us as a reminder not to touch our face while we are out, usually just to run in out ..then we sanitize before getting in the vechile....we have n95 mask  to use if we are going in a store around people....that was over a week ago ...now we stay in like hermits....our son does  our weekly grocery shopping for us...everyone stay safe.....

Yup, now everyone should wear a mask, so they say. But, they are saying it's to keep us from spreading the virus because a lot of people carrying it are showing no symptoms. I have a few dust masks, that's about it. Best advice, I think, is just stay home if you can.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

I stapled the legs shut on a pair on boxers and put the elastic waistband around my neck. tightened with a couple of clothespins. I only have one eye that works so I can peek out the pee slot. I wear safety goggles over that. I chose the least stained pair I have. It may not work with the virus but social distancing is no longer an issue and no one knows who I am. The bank people got nervous.  :o

That's some funny 💩 right there.
They say sport's bras were first made by sewing 2 jockstraps together. 😉

Finishing the masks today. Ended up using 3 hair ties for each side. Worked out great. Using 2 pulled on the ears too much.

A lady at dollar tree bought $50 of those.
She said I could sew a pouch and cut up a house filter to slide inside to get the N95 requirements. Great idea's going on. Barnyard technology making a comeback.

I'll be putting on on my boxers heading down to pick up dinner from our favorite local restaurant. We have to support the locals trying to make it.

Do any of you know if it's OK to take a shower or can we still just wash our hands?

went to take some pictures of my 35 Chevrolet touring undergoing some modifications 45 minutes away.

The grant wood rimmed flat center steering wheel I modified to a 9 bolt center was sitting on my tire.  I refinished the wood and used some kind of threaded tarp bolt and holder to put it back together.  The water jet cut center was powder coated a copper color to go with other real copper parts on air cleaner and the firewall backing.  I think the copper color seems to go nicely with the red paint without being obnoxious to the eye.

Wanted to get some pics of the new stainless exhaust but Glenn was under the dash working on the wiring.
Here are some pictures :

Not car related but getting a lot of yard work done with this stay at home stuff!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Lol   Well according to my buddy, the correct answer is: Shower every 2-3 days.  His wife said 2 days was enough if he didn't want to sleep alone!😁
Flu out break a few years back, he got a rash. Doc said he was over washing his hands face (at the wifes demands), and removing all the good bacteria that fights the bad bacteria on his skin. He claimed the good bacteria needed to migrate back to the overwashed areas. It did work and rash went away.

True story....for him anyway😷

Mike the car looks nice.

Its snowing again. The yard/garden will have to wait a bit. Dang Nevada spring, I always wind up with 6" weeds under the snow.

Sammons thanks for the info.  :)

Hands finally felt better, so i got on one of the k-10 pickup doors. These had previously been straighten a month or so ago. Friendly work....it waved at you when you walked by it. First filed with 40gt to see what was up. Lots of highs mostly. Got those tapped down then ground all the bondo off the bottom. Good thing, he hadn't mixed the mud up good under there. Soft spots and flaking (non adhesion).

Got news lastnight, one of my niece nurses was exposed to a test positive patient. Her husband, also a nurse at another hospital in Wichita had been showing signs and was tested. This afternoon test results were positive. He had no test positive patient.

He was running low grade fever, cough and ached/fatigued. He has been feeling much better last several days now. Here is the kicker....because she is showing no signs.....she is not allowed to be tested.  That is the stupidest regulation to me when involving our heathcare workers.😡 I wonder why this spreads in hospitals...Duh!

Rattiac I'm sending you a message.
