« on: June 02, 2019, 02:30:41 PM »

2.) Yellowstone (Madison campground) 2 nights.
3.) Did the usual site's (old faithful, guyser's)
4.) Bridge bay campground 2 nights
 (by Yellowstone lake)
5.) Yellowstone grand canyon, Morris guysers.
6.) Headed south to lava hot springs.
Saw Grand Tetons, ect.
7.) Last night at Lake Walcott Idaho.
Great weather and site.

Out there seeing our country, camping amongst the wonders, enjoying what you have, does it get better?  :)

Nice trip Rattiac!  I love Yellowstone and that part of the country!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Looks like a great trip! How's the teardrop holding up? My son just got back from a 10 day hiking trip: Montana, Idaho. He said it was the best ever!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Yup, dosent get any better.  ;D
It was sooo green up there. Kinda splurged at bear world and got tickets to feed the baby bear's. What an awesome experience. 🐻 🐻🐻
Didn't get any bites while fishing. Oh well. We did bring back some alcohol, fireworks and lottery tickets.
It's a Utah thing.  :o 8).
Since I haven't caught any fish in a long time, my bosses grand kid is a heck of a fisherman so..... im bringing my poles and gear to work to have him see what im doing wrong  :-[.
He's 12 and catches lunkers every time out.

Teardrop did great. The door has a small leak while driving in the rain I need to fix. The mattress was a bit wet by the door but the sleeping bag stayed dry. We put a towel there during travel.

I let the jeep have a day off yesterday but... today
It sounds like I killed a rear u-joint.
Like a good jeep. It got me home. :)

Definitely had a good time.  ;D

I put my spare driveshaft in and the squeak is gone but.... I'll be sending the jeep in to a driveshaft shop, having them rebuilt the shaft and figure out the slight vibes I have at 65mph.
Last time I rebuilt the shaft myself, it was actually cheaper to have a shop do it.

Looking at the hurt shaft. The end u-joint seems smooth during travel, the double cardian is a bit stiff.
