Now I just have to find them.  I got one for the passenger side that is in pretty good shape, but I need on for the driver's side.

62131 do you not run with them on your car?

You are talking about the ones chopper posted a picture of? Not at this time, I knew they went under the front fenders and I assumed they were only used on cars with the spare tire wells in the fenders to support the weight of the spare. I replaced my fenders with fiberglass ones. If they need to be there to support the fenders I guess ill have to figure out how they mount.

I don't have them on my 34 coupe...it has thick fiberglass fenders.  The fiberglass fenders on my 33 coupe are thin...so I'm going to laminate some braces into the fenders.
My fenders are steel, but I suppose I could do the same thing assuming the arch on both are the same.

I would think fabricating a set of arched braces on steel fenders would be easy since you have the outside rivet holes?  I'm afraid that if I tried to rivet a brace to the fiberglass it would just crack....so I'll laminate the brace.

MUNCH .........just search ebay daily "new listings" " 1929 1930 Chevrolet left front fender brace " , ADVANCED SEARCH, you can also "save the search"  and ebay will notify you if one is listed for sale.

One you need is out there, just a matter of working at it to find one.  And if ebay winning the auction.

good luck ------------mike lynch

Thanks guys, I made an offer.

Obviously the offer you made was not what seller was willing to accept.  I just checked and they went unsold. So far he has not re-listed them.

Yes Mike I saw that.  I would have thought I would have least gotten a "No thanks".
