Yeah only off-road. I've left em unhooked a time or two coming home from jeeping. Lot's of lean on turns. More with coils than leafspring.
Just gotta drive a bit more careful.

Found this short video while clearing out my computer and posted it. Some rear 3 wheel action.

Been working on a new video. 3 hrs of footage taken down to 18 mins. Computer wasn't having it, so I may have to break it up into 2 vids.

Some wide open country. My wife and I have see some of that. We try to make our trips to Texas different each time. On one trip we turned off below Blanding to see Hovenweep, nice collection of Indian stone buildings in a shallow canyon. From there we took an interesting road that got us to Cortez. It went through a narrow green canyon through an old Mormon settlement. There's probably some good off roading there too.

That is a place we need to explore (Hovenweep)
,  the 4 corners and Kanab.

Shortly after we came back from Goblin valley there was a flash flood in the same canyon we hiked. Sadly 2 small children were swept away.
One was found 28 miles away.😢
Hard to believe that distance since the wash leads right out to the parking lot.
Utah beautiful but dangerous.

That is very sad. I hope the parents were not letting the kids play in the water.  The beginning of that video shows the leading edge of the water running down the canyon and how fast it grows. These are not babbling brooks. That is tons of water, mud, big rocks and debris going 30 or so mph. The storm can be miles away. To rob a line from Merl Haggard, "She's not very wide but she's a mean piece of water my friend."

I've see some of that, at least driven by. I was at the Goose Necks right after a cloud burst. The trail from the parking lot to the look out was neatly all washed away and that was on the top of the canyon.

Do any of you watch Vice Grip Garage ?
This guy finds old non running cars and drives em home. He has that "Red-Green" type of humor.
Im amazed at what he gets running and driveable.

This car , most sane people would walk away from.

He makes me want to go pick up that Wagoneer which is 5hrs away. More closer to Sixball than me. :o

I am watching this right now and loving it, Thanks!

My son bought a '91 Ford 350 with the International 7.5 diesel v8, We went out to Fallon Friday to pick it up. We took a trailer just in case but we got it fired up and drove it home cooked wheels and all. Two new batteries, some fresh fuel, injector cleaner and we had to slow down a fuel leak. It was easier than what this guy has and it was only 60 miles from home. I am enjoying his attitude and I'm sending this to my son. The last thing he said to me Friday before driving off was, "This is one of the easiest one of these we've ever done." ;D I have a couple up here this guy might be able to drive home, too bad they are my daily drivers. ::)

I have watched his videos before, he is funny. I also liked the one where he gets the old Cad Deville. Done many of those "adventures" myself. Brought a few outta California home. Usually had a chase vehicle along.

Getting my Grandmas old '66 Impala wagon home was fun, it hadn't been run in years. I rode back to Branson with G&G when the came out to visit. Checked out,  topped off everything day before I headed back. Blew out 3 tires, 2 fanbelts, one muffler, a radiator hose and 2 pints brake fluid on the 450mile trip home.

My only tools i threw in my duffel bag was 3/8" thru 5/8" end wrenches, pliers, vise grip, cresent wrench, flat and phillips screw drivers, duck tape and bailing wire. Used just about everyone😁

Great job, Rattiac! Nice step by step video. Inspiring and innovative.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Nice job on the new trailer.  Goblin Valley we drove by there last year on our way from Park City Ut to Monument Valley.  Beautiful country!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!
