1978-1987 El Camino
« on: December 06, 2017, 07:55:04 PM »
Will be looking for a 78-87 El Camino or Sprint next season for a new project.  Drive-line is of no importance..have a drive-line looking for a donor vehicle ;) Just mentioning it now in case someone makes contact with one in the future.

when I go to see a friend in BROCKPORT NY every 3 months to pick up ebay purchases.  On that drive around Brockport I see a silver 1978--1987 el camino with a for sale sign on it.  Sitting next to driveway.  There was also another I used to see.

Not sure exactly which road I am on as cars garmin tells me which turns to take.  I come off the NY State thru way and come back to Brockport.

If I see it on my next trip hopefully end of December, will write down any info and phone number.

California car. Looks to be in decent shape.  All depends on what you are looking for.

Noticed that it is (was) a California car...anytime I see primer I have questions, but for the money it looks good.  Just won't be ready to transport until Spring...but if it was in my neighborhood I'm sure I'd get it here.  Do have room for one more car.

You could store it at my place until spring if you think it's what you want.

Tom - Really appreciate the offer ;)  You are making it hard for me because I just finished building my truck and trailer for hauling but don't want to put the road until after Winter.  Since I started looking I am seeing more around here for sale, found one with the body off and chassis painted that I will be looking at.
