Beautiful! Kinda' looks like my driveway. I usually try to get home before dark. :o
Iv'e actually been thinking of getting one to play with and use to photograph some of the trespassers that I don't want to chase. Maybe drop snakes on them.

That's some incredible footage!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Very cool video! Can't wait to see what you come up with Rattiac ;)
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

I ordered a uav simulator (usb stick) to practice with before the first flight. It works great to get a feel for the controls and how it's going to maneuver, just like the real thing. Plug it into your PC and turn on the controller.
Made a few adjustments and calibrations.

Today took it out for it's first flight. Tried out all the functions and switched it to home mode. It comes back and lands all by itself, then shuts off motors.

Already thinking of taking the 32 out for some arial filming. I have a video already started with pics and such , but this should be a great way to finish the vid.

That sounds like too much fun. I'm really interested to see what you come up with. Do you have links to the model you bought?
I need that homing mode installed on my pickup!  :o

I picked up the Yuneec typhoon q500 4k . When searching on different drones, DJI seemed to be the standard (like Ford) but parts availability is a must for me as well as something that's going to last me for a few years.
Mine I bought used and prices have come down alot.

Yuneec started out with electric aircraft first then broke into the drones. Now drones are getting smaller with retractable arms so they are easier to carry.
Here's some cool videos of the Detroit area, I thought y'all would enjoy.

WOW! The Detroit ones are sad. The last one is amazing. A little scary but amazing. That guy is good! Thanks for posting.

A few weeks ago I was able to get a flight while camping. While it was legal for me to fly there, the camp host said to keep it quick, cause people complain. My video didn't upload correctly but was able to get a pic 65 ft up just before landing.
Landing is the scariest part but pulled it off successfully.
