Recognize this window track?
« on: July 01, 2017, 01:09:11 PM »
Just had a contact give me a bunch of old Chevy parts including 4sp shifters, steering columns etc.

He said this window track might be from an El Camino? Anyone recognize it?

Ed, don't believe it's got anything to do with any year Elcamino. Appears to be a 2dr rear quarter glass track. Rather unique twin track mounting, I sure don't recognise that 90° curve. I'm not smart enough to do a Google image search from my phone.

Closest i've come up with is 63-65 Buick Rivera, pic said frt door?

Never owned an El Camino (but wouldn't mind owning one) and was wondering if they had roll away rear windshields. Otherwise I have no idea how it would even function.

I've owned about every body style Elcamino, (alot of '59s)except for the last little one. I love them, my buddie Tom hates them. He said you needed two at a time, one to crap on and the other to cover it up :o

About the back glass Ed, nope but a cool idea. Might work out neat on 64-72 Elkys. Probably room to roll down and not be in the way of anything.
