I am gonna list the Buick to shake the tree and see if there is any interest in it.. Of course members of the rusty bowtie group will get pricing consideration

Ghost, my question is , why sell the Buick an extremely unusual and good looking build.  Has a lot of sweat equity in it.

I think its your signature build.

I think you are right. I might have to rethink this whole idea.

Ghost, Only you will know if it's the right thing to do. Sometimes it's just about the build, very cool and unusual for sure. But you never can tell what the next build holds for you. No judgement here, I've built and sold a lot of them even though I really liked them. I only have one I truley miss and DIDN'T want to sell. It still haunts me, and not because it was anything special, perfect or expensive.  It just suited me perfect, (my black '57).
Just do what you feel deep down! ;)

List the pros and cons of selling your  Buick.......And don't come  back and beat your self up if you sell it ...and don't  say to your self ......could've, should've ,would've .... kept it...sold it or did this or did that...been through this many times on selling a car  I should have kept...just be happy with what ever decision you make...and if it turns out to be a bad decision ..you'll get over it.......

I think it is your signature build as well,That would be like getting rid of the wife to get someone else mistakes and you would have to rebuild all over again. Its not the same as me getting rid of the 2013 camero It would be like me getting rid of my 59 vette no no no   vette59jdwl

We have been with you from day one right up to building the ragtop, now now now  i think you should sit down and rethink this one.

My thoughts are if you really want to get rid of it for some reason sell it but if your selling to build something else there is always another way to obtain that  Don't give up something you have for something you want.

I have it down to 24,000 if you know of anyone needing a great hot rod with lots of leg room.

The Buick is gone A father son team bought it, and they are gonna tear it all down and do an extreme makeover on it in there family shop. They said they want a pure show car. I said I don't care as long as they pay me for it. They will keep me informed as to what it will look like afterward, and I will let you guys know of the change in it.

Glad it went to a good home.  So I guess the next time I'm out your way I can check out the 55 Chevy gasser ;D

I guess that is a good thing. You built something unique and had some fun with it. It provided them with something to work with. If you ever think a car is finished sell it and see what happens.  ;D Best of all you have some cash to play with.

So now you have $$$ to move on to another project....I have always sold with no regret after I sold them...but when you're building something and it doesn't go my way that's when I kick myself in the arse..but In time usually i get over it..any ways congrats...on your sale
