Monogram twin beam headlights
« on: March 31, 2017, 11:11:38 PM »
I found another set of these and they are the same light I used on my Buick roadster. I was wondering if anyone know what they came on?  They are 10 inch

Ghost, close as I could come was 1926-7 Cad and 1926-28 Lasalle. But it looks like they used 10 1/8" Monograms.

Here are some I found on E-bay for a 30-31 Lasalle, but he doesn't give size. Others were marked 30-31 Reo that were 10".

Closer/clear pic of lens/bucket with dimentions (lens size 10"?, bucket, ring, depth etc) and lens/bucket markings might help too.

wow 10 " inches of lens.........that's a real pair of DOLLY PARTONS.

my FAVORITE LOOK is 32 ford headlights or 33-34 ford commercial lights on hi-boys down low.

I am actually switching my 35 std coupe with 7" sealed beams over to original headlights with just under 9" of lens.

Actually the lens is about 9 1/4 inches and the bucket is right a ten, They are pretty close to 32 ford  in size, still a pair that dolly would be proud of. Sammons I found lenses that have the same look, but eithr large like mine or around 8 1/2 inches so I guess there were two sizes of my style.  The actually say monogram twin beam towards the bottom.

Dang Ghost, I ran across some twin beam 9-1/4" lens/ bucket assy early yesterday. I can't find them again this morn. I think they were on early 30's Ply/Wippet or Essex. I was skipping over them looking for 10"   ;D  I was down to fractions like 9-15/16" Monograms. I found a Monogram lens Identify pics refference, but can't find it either now.

1st pic 30 Plymouth, 2nd pic 9-3/8" lens,  3rd 30 Essex? Forgot that one for sure. Good luck man, that's a tough one.

I bought a set of lenses  for just in case about a week ago. Cost me 80.00 but free shipping. You never know when a rock is gonna get ya, and since they will be on both cars.
