DYI Simple Aluminum Casting

Going through some of the files on an old computer and I found this article about how to  create small aluminum casting such as emblems at home. I don't remember where I got it so I can't give credit to the author but I thought that it might come in handy for someone who is missing an impossible to find part or emblem and wants to give it a try.

Thanks Moose always wanted to try sand casting..already have a furnace that I never used.  Been making a bunch of those AR15 rifle grips with silicone molds.
