Now that the 32 is home you have to update your avatar ;D
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Hey all, thanks much. Sorry been busy loading up to head south for winter.
I  juiced up all the nuts and bolts I can get too. Spring things will begin. I do want to mild rod it when I  return.
Now in saying that, I  respect folks an ting to keep things stock. If you want to build an original, I  will discuss passing it along but Im not keen on it. Drop me an email if you really want to build a stock original. My email is hotrod.lono@gmail.com

LeadFreddie  Not to sure how far north you are. There is no snow here yet just sort of cool. There are lads on here that HOT_ROD there are lads on here that it is sacrilege to say so There are lads on here that like them stock and lads on here that like them mild. Me well I sure do like juice brakes so its juice brakes for sure body wise as stock as i can keep her. I also am doing work of sorts on a 32 roadster I am using a 55/56 chevy front axle under the parallel springs on the 32 changing the steering gear to a tilt telescopic steering wheel out of a Cadillac and using a Dodge D-50 Rear end
Fits like a glove and gives me 6 bolt all the way around WHY you say???I also have a 2005 lowrider and 2 sets of wheels i also have a 2000 G.M.C sierra with 3 sets of wheels. And also have 8 -6 bolt wire wheels. It is also getting either a 230 or 250 chevy six cylinder and a 5 speed stick from a chevy S 10. Seats from a Jimmy Heater from the Jimmy and anything else that i can take out of the 92 JIMMY.This 92 jimmy is a 4x4 with the overdrive automatic I will probably shelve that I here Ed has lots of parts for that critter.I think that is a 3.8 liter engine with computer box

Vette59 that "32 sounds great to me. What tear are the Dodge D-50s with those tear ends?

Freddie, Your '32 is yours. You build it any way you want. It's just an old car and what ever you do with it is better than sitting in a field and rusting away. I think most of the cars sitting in big collections and museums would rather be hot rods. It's like keeping a race horse in a stall.  :o

http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/1980-Dodge-Ram-50-Plymouth-Arrow-Truck-Repair-Shop-Manual-Original-P17014.aspx  OR GO TO GOOGLE AND TYPE IN Dodge D-50. I think Ed here was also playing around with the idea  I used a 1989 Dodge D-50 truck rear axle with 2 inch wide rear spring and it was bang on  vette59jdwl

Also make sure you get the tailshaft of the driveshaft or get the whole driveshaft because it bolts to the rear pinion gear with 4 bolts and what i intended to do was put a disc brake and caliper there to use as a emergency brake   VETTE59JDWL

Vette59, Thanks. I was planning on using a Dana 44 limited slip I have but they are such a pain to set up. I like some of the D-50 ratios. The 44 set I may use are 4.26. With OD trans that would give my 4 banger some help. Are the D-50 drive lines two piece? Does it have a slip joint in it? I need one like that.
