I like to watch a good TV show about building cars on a saturday morning to get my motivation up.
OR watch a youtube video.
Guess I grew out of cartoons.   :o

I know what ya mean though. When I got my car drivable I lost all motivation to do anything else.
Hell I cant even clean the garage and its been a year . Its coming back though but projects are getting stacked up .
I have PTSD.

check the directions on the paint can and do not spray if the temperature or the humidity exceed the recommended spraying temperature & conditions.

I have a dual inexpensive $10 gauge in my garage for temp and humidity.  Also make sure your compressor tank is drained of water and your inline water trap is up to snuff.

Don't want water spots in or on the primer.

I do have a temp. and humidity gauge on the wall in the garage, It was 65 degrees last night. I also use a air dryer on my air system.

FATnLOW. You got the best of everything going on right there.  :) Keep her happy. Chopper I feel your pain, but take my advice and don't even talk about your progress on the car to your wife. If she is like mine she will ride in the car when it's finished, but she don't want to here about the build, the conversation bores her about the same as sewing a dress bores me. On another note I did find a bit of momentum in the form of running the brakes lines on the Buick. Most everything is ran except a few items I will need to order. Now back to being lazy.  ::)

Ghost, I'm glad you found a peice of yours. I had every intention to sort through more parts. When I walked in the shop late this morning it looked like a bird sanctuary.  So I went home, found my old Crossman. It took me 15 mins to get my eye and gun sighted, but I got 14 of them little bastards. Spring they tear away the insulation at the eves and make nests (and fly in) >:(

So later I got two motors moved, said the hell with it and went back home.

Ghost, that is good advice. Every time I tell her about the car her eyes glaze over like I'm talking to her in Chinese and just gives me that nod that says "that's nice, dear".
FATnLOW, I have four boys who have little more interest than my wife. They appreciate cool cars, but turn a wrench? Nahhhh!
As long as the weather holds out I am going to start transforming my end bay into a makeshift paint booth. I have just about everything I need to prime my coupe, I am shooting for one day next week, hopefully Wednesday. I chose the U-Pol beige, that way it will cover easily if I paint the car yellow or black.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Fatnlow  I used a product from Tamco part # HP5311  it is a self etching primer and it also kills any rust that you might have missed down in the bottom of the pits that sanding wont get to.  Hope you find plenty of goodies at the swap meet.
