I don't know what's up with us just east of the Rockies.  It's been in the 70's these past six days or so. Usually here in Feb It's around 30 for the highs. Tonights low is supposed to be 38 (f). I've had the windows open for a week now, I know it's going to bite us in the butt anytime.

Actually as of feb 4th at 4 am I was supposed to leave for Tampa florida until the 28th February by truck..   Having the good luck of the Irish, the house we were going to be staying in a park got sold , with a demand from the buyer that she take possession February 6th.

So here I am still here giving a the snow blower about 4 workouts so far on the fresh white.

Supposed to be taking in Disney, Universal studios, and 3-4 days down in Key Largo keys till end of month.

THIS SUCKS

Mike you could Truck down this way, but by the time you got here it would probably be 5- and back to the usual 40mph winds.  ;D  Just leave your Thong behind though!   :o

Well we finally got some snow here nothing like some of you have gotten, but what's funny is the panic the news can cause when reporting. Oh were gonna get a foot or more, and everyone starts to panic and mobbs the grocery stores. I went to the store friday night, and what a joke. There were people clearing the shelves like there would be no tomorrow. I wonder what some of them would do if they lived back east.

Ain't that the truth! I only pay attention when it blows up from the south west, that's when we get the Deep stuff. Snow got here late last night. They are saying 6-9" by morn. They are usually wrong. 15° here, horizontal snow, 30mph wind. Glad I don't have to go out anyway.  ;)  Gonna be dang hard on my trees, they are all ready budding out from the nice false spring weather we were having. :-\

We've been dealing with 13" of snow fall here which is unusual for us, as said above people here went crazy also clearing the store shelves. There's been a lot of milk sandwiches eaten this past week. ;D

Finally had a day above freezing!  Here is a picture I took today the same spot I took the picture of my 33 that's on the calendar this month.  The other two are my backyard where my granddaughter's swing set got buried from the snow off of my deck, notice only the end of the top post is visible :o  We just got another 6" last night.
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Well everything was going good this morning until the belt on my snow blower broke. Luckily I had a spare to get things cleaned up but I hate to interrupt the job to do a repair. Maybe I should think about replacing my 1962 Snowbird blower with a new one...Nah the new ones have belts too.   :D

I wish we had snow. It looks like a long smoky summer. You can keep your -15 though. ;D
