Happy Thanksgiving
« on: November 26, 2014, 11:49:58 AM »
I'm leaving after work and headed to spend Thanksgiving with my sister's family and my 86 year old Ma.

I hope you all have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving and give thanks to our most precious asset, our family.

Happy Thanks giving to all of you. My wife and I will spend it one of our daughters and her husbands home. We should have all the family there. It will be a great day with lots of noise.

Well said Munch, Happy Thanksgiving to all.  I'll be at my sister's 10 minutes from my house.  My Mom and Dad will be there and so will my kids and grand-kids.  Looking forward to it.  Be thankful and safe.

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Bowtie buddies. Staying put tomorrow, but will be invaded by about 15 friends and family. Getting ready to cook two turkeys and a ham. Yum :P

Happy Thanksgiving! It's my favorite Holiday because it is about Family, food, and being home. My sons, my daughter in law, my grandson, and my wife will be it this year. My wife and I are the old folks. It wasn't always that way and there are wonderful memories. :)

That's my only misgiving about Thanksgiving and the holiday season. As good as things are and as lucky and fortunate that I am, this time of year always makes me a little melancholy thinking about seaons past and wishing I could relive those memories.

We made it safe on our trip north ran into traffic in Louisville Ky, where they are building new bridge crossing the Ohio river it's an awesome piece of architecture.

Up here in Canada we had our thanksgiving in late October............think I am trying to still digest all that turkey i ate and the turkey sandwiches over the following couple of weeks.

Your Black Friday event has spilled over to here and we now have RED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY for people to blow their hard earned $$$$ on stuff..

I try to hold those memories dear while helping my Boys to build new ones. Right now we are in the family room watching "A Christmas Story" and laughing at our own Holiday adventures. Yep I wish I wasn't the older generation but those before me left me with a full load of Holiday Cheer to pass on. ;D  God bless us every one! 8)
