RUSTYBOWTIE BACK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: September 27, 2014, 07:21:23 AM »
Sorry folks.....our forum was down overnight and I just figured out the problem...It was something I did!  About noon yesterday I attempted upload a picture just as I have done hundreds of times before. The upload feature I normally use wouldn't work ...so I tried another route via the "file manager".  The image uploaded to the directory...but took the entire web page with it and I didn't know that at the time.

Called Godaddy and the tech support said that they had a server crash on their end and that the "RustyBowtie" disappearance was not anything I did and that the problem will be fixed by morning.

I get up at 6a today and still no forum.

So I go back into my Godaddy account, I have about 8 web pages I host for my daughter and friends.  It took me sometime but finally located this forum's data in another folder and just transferred it back to where it should be.

I screwed up...but the tech guys....should have found the problem.

I apologize....Sorry Guys....

I thought I was the kid who comes home from school and finds that his family moved. :(

I was admiring moose's custom Tee that Tam put up, checked out another site, came back here, and "what the hell did I touch this time!". I try to stay logged off when i'm on the web because I am constantly dropping my phone. When I try to catch it I hit ????, and stuff disappears or appears. Re- booted phone 3 times and pulled the batt out once before I figured out it wasn't me.

I had to scan other channels lastnight, didn't care much for that. Glad you got her back up with no serious problems.

I missed you guys!  Thanks Ed for fixing it!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!
