Looking for Guide light turn signals and found this post
« on: August 24, 2014, 10:48:36 PM »
Looking for a small set of those Guide 682 C style turn signals when I came upon this HAMB post by accident...a guy asks a question and the traditional brethren attacks..

Asking a question on the HAMB is like playing the game "Simon says:... ;D

OTB gear .

Checked them out...they sell the cover and lense separately..would be like to find a ready to mount set with bulb sockets etc. I do like the shape and design.

Thanks

Hey, We could do a "HAMB" day here every 28 days and attack every one who posts. We could say their cars aren't rusty enough, don't display enough bow ties, or just rip them because we've been here longer than they have.  ::)

I've been struggling with front turn signals for my roadster build. I want either a hidden or more traditional look. I really don't want them at all but for safety......It's dangerous enough driving an old roadster in modern traffic.

I've been playing around with cars for over 50 years and I still don't know what the heck a "Traditional Hot Rod" is. When I was growing up if the car looked good and went like hell that was good enough for us.

I made the mistake of getting in "that discussion" over there once. They are into limited time frame sorta look alikes. There is a lot there that I like great cars, good folks, and tons of information. I just don't need the attitude and rudeness from someone hiding behind their keyboard and pretending to own the only valid view of motor sports. I like the semi open minds here. ;D

I am a HAMB member, though I don't spend much time over there anymore, and some of those guys are kinda rude. That's what I like about RBT, I could ask you guys a question about a VW and I wouldn't get my chops busted...........right? ???

Anyway, I used the same headlight/turnsignal setup that that poor guy got reamed for, and I like it. I was just going for a "less is more" look.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn
