Title: 1932 Coach Build

Well I got my frame back from the sand blaster last week and was able to get my Mustang II cross member In and started boxing my frame thought I would post a few pictures. Please feel free to voice your thoughts.

Looks good....Nice clean welds. Do you have to figure out what you want for caster before you weld the FE in or is there enough adjustment in the system to be able set it where ever you need  later?

I bought my cross member from JW Garage, the caster was already built into the top hats. They came pre bent and welded, after the cross member was installed they just set on top of the cross member and centered over the front axle. It was a very simple installation. I will post some picture of the top as soon as I get the frame flipped over.

Nice work, looks great!  Are you doing the welding yourself?

Yes I am, I'm getting help with the lifting and turning of the frame, I prefer to do all my own work where I can.

Thanks, I've had this project for two years collecting parts and looking for bargains to keep the build within reason.  I have a 5 year plan for this one.

Finally got my frame turned back over and finished up the boxing and welding of the front cross member, now in the process of building transmission and motor mounts. Here is the frame now.

Very nice. I just built a crossmember and boxed the front frame area on my Buick roadster. your frame is looking real good. Keep at it.

I have the motor mounts and transmission mounts done now,  just have not taken pictures, the frame is setting outside on saw horses covered with plastic waiting on a pretty day to get it covered with rust bullet.

Yes it is, Transmission is a th350c with a few modifications done to it, and will be connected to set of 2:41 gears this car is being built for the open road
