Title: Going back to the mid 50s
Post by: ghost28 on December 04, 2012, 07:10:46 PM
If I sell my 27 chevolet, I have my eye on a real nice 56  Chevy 2 door sedan, white early tuck and rolled upholstery, body work is done and ready for paint, 350 350 combo, but it still has the clutch pedal in the car so a 4 speed is not out of the question. or if that one doesn't work out, I have my eye on a 56 Chevy 2 door handy man wagon with a 402 big block and turbo 400 trans. This one will require a little more work to make it road worthy, but real cool car none the less. Both are priced right in todays market, and if done right should be able to get my money back if needed. My wife is so cool she calls all my projects inventory should we ever need cash we have something to liquidate. I have built so many late 20s to early30s chevrolets, a mid 50s Chevrolet is gonna be strange to me. Dont get me wrong I am not giving up on the early wood structured Chevys. I hope to build another one in the future.

Hey John, I hate to see the 27 go but that means another cool Chevy will get on the road.  My friend has a 56 two door wagon he's had since he was 16.  They are cool cars.  Tom
