Think we have it rough getting parts and/or making things work...check out some of the videos on the Pakistani Truck channel.
A lot of ingenuity..... most of us have more specialized tools in our one car garages:

In one video they rewind a starter motor armature...I'd just go to Advance Auto Parts for all of the work ;D

Some of the stuff those guys are doing makes you wonder what the lifespan of a Pakistani truck mechanic is? :o
Cuba seems to be a place where they have really gotten the most out of the cars.

for a long time the USA had an embargo on shipping automotive parts to Cuba, did not matter the age of the parts.
Wonder if thats still in place ?
