Title: Shock bolt stud
Post by: Rattiac on October 26, 2019, 06:13:54 PM
Im in need of a better shock bolt studs for my lower mount. I have some but they only space it out about a 1/4".
Online I only find one with  1/2" spacing unless I get the coilover mounts.
I need it spaced out about an inch. I think those kick it out more.
Any tips ?

Rattiac, Speedway offers these two different types. I've used both but don't remember how long they were.

Years back, (at least Monroe) use to include the spacers in the attaching parts bag.  :(

Speedway said the basic studs are 1/2" spacer/collar.
So, I ordered the smaller coilover studs that have a 1- 3/4" spacer/collar.
It sounds a bit overkill but I didn't want the airshock bag to rub the mount.

Yeah. Glad I still have his number. :o
I actually didn't even think about that till you brought it up.
Cool. I'll mock it up and have him cut those down.
