Title: Rear End identification
Post by: munch on September 01, 2019, 04:29:59 PM
I have a GM rear end that has a code N 3894859 and it is a 10 bolt. From what I can find, it appears to be a 67 -69.  Looking at the front of the unit, there is a GM9 stamp on the upper right and on the passenger axle housing is BA09 22 W.

Can anyone give me more detail?

Thanks

Munch, maybe this will help. I've used this site for info before.

If GM9 is the RPO Code: I found this:

GM9 8244 P RAX M AXLE REAR 3.63 RATIO 10521 E X E A
