Title: Trunk hinge gaskets

Got a new set of rubber hinge gaskets for the '39.   They are one piece and I assume they have to be cut, is this correct?

Interesting, I have no idea if they must be cut.

Will the trunk lid open fully properly , without being restricted by the rubber gasket , because if it isn't restricted I would say , no cut.

Guess an install and test is in the works .  Looks like on second look at picture, just install them .
