Title: trying to get alternator to work

*****   edit...  I think I just have the wrong alternator just got back home from auto zone …   

OK so still have a problem,  alternator isn't doing anything,  unhook the battery and car dies. 


brand new alternator and external regulator correct for '68 camaro.   where would you guys start?

ahhh  fixed ,  blue wire on alternator was in wrong spot . "F" on regulator goes to "F" on alternator .   Now im in a good mood !!!

While you are still fresh with info on alternators here is a good article on them (if you haven't already seen it).  Should find the article at http://www.billavista.com/tech/Articles/Alternator_Bible/index.html.  Good reading.
