Title: Totally unrelated to cars....except it's fossil fuel
Post by: chopper526 on May 29, 2019, 10:45:16 AM: In a totally unrelated to cars post: I'm getting ready to retire and I just purchased a miniature golf course in North Wildwood, New Jersey. It's called "Jurassic Adventure Golf" and has a dinosaur theme. I invite all Rusty Bowtie family and friends to a round of golf if you are ever on the South Jersey coast stop by and see me!........we can thank the dinosaurs for fossil fuel, so it's indirectly car related ::). I'd appreciate a Like us on Facebook and spread the word to our East coast buddies. Thanks guys!!

We made a very large 8-9 hole (pending creek running or not) mini course on my 1/4 block here at the house back in the early 80s. We named it the Ditch Weed Country Club (creek area use to be full of weeds). Had our Ditch Weed Classic for 10yrs on Memorial weekend. It was a hoot, but I sucked at it too! ;)

Post by: sixball on May 30, 2019, 12:14:57 PM: That is cool. There was a "professional" Mini Golf tour several years ago and a course in Carson City was part of it. That course is gone now and I don't know about the Put-Put Pros. We go to a neat little course at Kings Beach at lake Tahoe when we are at our cabin there. It's old and a family thing. The land is worth so much I worry about them being able to hang on. It is a time capsule. :)

Ed, we've owned a house in Wildwood for years, owned a motel there too, about 16 years ago. Anyway, this place came up for sale, and I am somewhat of a risk taker, and my wife said yes!
