Title: Lake Placid NY

I live about an hour north of Lake Placid and the upcoming Olympics are firing up folks. When you drive by these jumps and look up at them your senses tell you that the jumpers will land on your car, of course they don't but the towers are impressive.

Very impressive! We drive by one in Berlin NH when we go up north fishing.  It was built in 1936 and just recently restored.

 I am 73 plus and when i was 20 i use to ski black diamond at Lake Placid white Face Mountain yes  been there done that  vette59jdwl
