Title: Motor Trend Says Camaro Is Better than Corvette

To be honest I really don't care for the new Corvette styling very much and now according to Motor Trend it turns out that they don't drive that well either. My thoughts too, not a fan of the look. Honestly haven't really liked the looks after 82, I thought it was bad enough when the C3 dumped the chrome bumpers >:(

Handling dosen't surprise me either. I remember a magazine article (80s?) May have been Car & Driver/ Corvette Fever?  Titled some thing like "and the '69 outhandled them all".  My 69 had the F41(350/350 and 4spd, 3:73 gear. I thought it handled well till i put new Michelin x sport p235x60x15s on my '70 Firebird Formula 400 and got it up and running. That thing handled like it was on rails. I pulled them off and put them on the Vette and went back out to see, the Pontiac out did the Vette very notably!

I had sold my brother the sister '69 convt years ago. He has quite a bit of miles on it, but after we restored his '72 T/A  he called me and asked why his T/A out handled his Vette?  Told him I forgot all about going thru the same with my Formula. So if the Camaro is claimed to be better......It wouldn't surprise me. ;)

I agree.....after 1982 the Corvettes began looking like foreign cars.

I think they really started downhill with 1978 and the bubble back window.

I'm having a tough time getting used to the new Corvettes.  I have a 2013 Camaro RS Convertible and I like the looks of that better than the 2017 Camaros.  The new ones have a lot of sharp edges like the Corvettes.

They finally did something different with the taillights, I like em. Just need to make the front more aggressive looking. I'd start with the headlights. Other than that it's been the same old car since 70.
The camaro looks cool in the front. Taillights don't look right.
Been working on alot of the convertibles .
