For once it's close to me...but too many reasons not to get it right now (building a garage)

Nice car. The rust under the Bondo would concern me. It's so complete and unmolested that it will make any kind of project the new owner wants.

Nice car. The rust under the Bondo would concern me. It's so complete and unmolested that it will make any kind of project the new owner wants.

The "gas tank cover panel " with the damage,  looks like its taken some bumping before . At least its easily removable and a magnet will tall you what you want to know along with a view underneath it.  6 small 1/4 bolts along the sides is all it takes to remove it.  At the price it is and the completeness of the car, I would say its a good buy at under $10G .

All depends on if the car was repainted at some time and if there's any other body damage covered up .  Buy only what you can lay your hands on and visually inspect.   Too many horror stories of people buying long distance over the phone only to want to kill the seller when they get it.
