New to the forum....Hi All,

Are there any hydraulic brake conversion kits retaining the stock 6 lug wheels and rear end?

Welcome to the site!
I read somewhere years back about using '37 chevy hydraulic brake set up on the earlier chevys. Don't remember the details.
Talked to a guy with a 33 Master sedan at a show some years back. I believe he said he transplanted all of his from a 47-54 chevy 1/2 ton pick up? Hopefully someone here knows for sure.

I will see what I can find going that route. Her is another idea, a bit far fetched...Since the existing cams, shoes etc. are good and the idea is to retain as much original as possible, how about using a clutch pull type slave cylinder to actuate the lever at the same point the clevis and rod attach to now. The slave would simply mount to the back of the backing plate.
Thoughts anyone?

I found this thread on the aaca forum.

Maybe you can find something usefull. I have no idea on your second question. Good luck.
