I would like to use something that is electric say two or three speed wipers. What seams to be the best and what are you lads using for a wiper set up thanks  vette59jdwl
PS I would also like to change my 59 corvette over to electric wipers as apposed to the cable system that it has  thanks lads

The last two times I used specialty wipers. They are expensive, but they can be 3 speed along with a delay program. I liked them. What I liked about them is you can mount the transmission in the kick panel and run a pipe cleaner type cable encased in aluminum tubing through the a pillar to the gears for the wipers.

I used the cheapo 2 speed "Jeep type" motor that Speedway (and everybody else) sells, it mounts in the header. Seems to work fine and I hope not to get stuck in the rain. Only thig is, since I chopped my top I had to cut the blade down a bit. No biggie.

I used the Specialty wiper motor in my 38 and I'm thinking about using the cheap 2 speed motor like chopper did and keep a bottle of rain-x handy   ;)

Yeah vette. That's the one. It has a clocking feature in the main box to control the sweep for fine tuning of partial sweep or full sweep.
